When it comes to feeding all our citizens it really does take a village.  And here in Los Angeles there are many villages working on the problem of finding enough food and distributing it where it’s needed.  One wonderful organization doing exactly that is Netiya. I’m on the host committee for a fundraiser along with Amelia Saltsman (who you hear on the Good Food Market Report).  I believe that faith based communities have a particularly powerful role to play in building gardens and food distribution systems.  Also, when else will you have a chance to explore the unique piece of LA architecture that is Artemesia.  Artemesia, built in 1913 in the Oaks section of Los Feliz is the biggest craftsman style house in the US.  We’ll be gathering there for music, food, drink (provided by Jennie Cooks) and community.  Please join us.
